Away we go...
Over the next few months, we'll be exploring Europe... gallivanting about, tasting the cuisines, immersing ourselves in culture, and learning every step of the way. We hope to stay connected as you explore with us on our family adventures!
After this life adventure, here are our final family reflections:
Coming full circle...starting in Ireland and ending in Iceland (we think it's funny).
We've lived a lifetime of adventures in these three+ months!
We're definitely ready to take a break from packing bags every several days for a spell.
Amari and Waylon are counting down to stuffed animal heaven when they get back to their bedrooms.
All of us now have a long list of additional trips we want to take. 😂
We would hop on another river cruise tomorrow...yes, it was that good!
Shipping things home from Europe is a hassle! Had to be done in our case, but avoid it if you can. (Shout out to Nina for helping with these!)
Different streaming availability, even when using our own accounts, by country.
Things we appreciate about the U.S.: Free water at restaurants, free toilets everywhere, screens on windows, grocery stores and the variety available, the United States Postal Service, garbage disposals.
Things we prefer about Europe: More history, trains and public transportation, being trusted not to be a stupid human (probably less liability here), everyone has been so nice, people are more trustworthy most places, walkability, ease of travel, more environmentally considerate, using two separate duvets for each person in beds.
